Meeting –4/7/05 Minutes
The meeting was called to order by Comm. Camardo at 11:00 am. Pat VanOrman, Civil Service Clerk took the roll. Present was Comm. Camardo and Comm. Brennan. Comm. Welch excused.
Approve minutes
Motion made to approve minutes of the 3/3/05 meeting. Motion to approve made by Comm. Brennan and seconded by Comm. Camardo. Motion carried 2-0.
New Business
1. Planning Dept.
Review roster and establish eligible list for the exam for Planning and Economic Development Program Manager, promotional, #76-360. Motion to accept mad e by Comm. Camardo and seconded by Comm. Brennan. Motion carried 2-0.
2. Municipal Utilities
Review roster and establish eligible list for Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Trainee exam # 20-051. Motion to accept made by Comm. Brennan and seconded by Comm. Camardo, Motion carried 2-0.
3. Discussion of an application for 55a consideration made by Heidi Church. Letter of approval for 55a will be se t to her stating she is eligible for 55a based on her eligibility for 55b with the State of New York. When canvassing for the position of Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator, the position she applied for, her name will be sent to the City Manager for 55a consideration.
4. The name of Kathy Rainone is readded to the eligibility list for Keyboard Specialist per her letter of request. Motion to readd her name made by Comm. Camardo and seconded by Comm. Brennan. Motion carried 2-0.
Old Business
Police Dept.
Further discussion of backgrounds checks for Police Officer candidates and any other City of Auburn employees is continued tabled awaiting the policy letter from the City Manager.
